Sabrina Artel's Trailer Talk can now be heard every Friday at 2pm on WJFF Radio Catskill 90.5FM in Jeffersonville, New York.

Trailer Talk is a public conversation that always includes many more people during the live event than are included in the audio program. In all cases the audio program which is the secondary component of the Trailer Talk project is only a portion of the conversations shared at my mobile kitchen table. I am grateful to all of the participants during Trailer Talk both inside and outside of the trailer. Everyone who participates in Trailer Talk is important to both the live and the recorded audio event. Thanks so much to everyone for joining in on the conversations!

Jeff Barrie

Chris Madison

In North Branch New York, I speak with health journalist and author, Alison Rose Levy at a grassroots citizen group benefit as they fight natural gas drilling in the Catskills. In D.C. Chris Madison heads to Al Gore's New Green Economy celebration and in the Poconos of Pennsylvania filmmaker and clean energy educator, Jeff Barrie talks with me about his film, Kilowatt Ours.

Alison Rose Levy talks about the dangerous and often life threatening health impacts of energy extraction. That in turn taxes our health systems and medical providers in our communities. So, who said that harming the world around us isn't also harming us?

Jeff Barrie helps educate me about the simple and often cheap ways that we can use less damaging energy sources and even save money on our bills too! Jeff spoke as part of the Energy Symposium hosted by the Homestead school in Glen Spey, N.Y.

Wow, a "New Green Economy", even those words are uplifting after the years of a "drill Baby drill" attitude. Al Gore hosted a New Green Economy event on the evening before the Inauguration of Obama in D.C. There environmental groups, coalitions, activists and experts gathered to celebrate the election(therefore chance for the environment) of Obama. I spoke with Chris Madison from the American Wind Energy Association on the Metro about the exciting possibilities of wind energy.
